This varies depending on the amount that individuals use.  But, for a beard that hangs about an inch off the face 3 to 5 weeks seems to be the average.

Our balm has a stiffer hold than many of the other beard balms on the market so it does not require very much balm to get good results.

The points (or tines) should not break when brushed though the beard or hair.  The points (or tines) can break if the brush is dropped or takes an impact or if you try to force the brush through a tough tangle.

Our brushes have an all natural, locally sourced, beeswax base which melts at approx 144° – 147°F.  So, we caution people not store the brushes anywhere that may have temperatures that exceed 100°F.

As a side note, people who want to apply balm more liberally can warm the brush under warm water and those who want to apply less liberally can cool the brush in a refrigerator or freezer.

The brush is designed to fit well in the balm of the users hand.  It is about the size of a traditional business card.
